I have a very large independent mp3 music artist website that I want to sell.
The site has over 500 members, and there are alot of options and tools to make money with here.
You can sell adds to artists, there are account upgrades that artists can purchase, artists can sell mp3 files by download, and you get a % that you set in the admin, you can sell banner adds...

There is a very nice admin where you control the site from.

This site is getting from 3000 to 4000 unique visits a day at this time.
It is on a dedicated server Celeron 2GHZ, 256MB RAM, (2)40GB IDE, 1000GB Bandwidth and costs $110 a month.
The site is about 14gigs in size now.

Its a loverly designed site. Why are you selling? Looks to me like you have spent many a long hour working on this.

I am also a music artist

I just dont have time for both, and I have been an artist for many many years.
So, I think that I better stick with what I know best

Thats strange... i have a friend who is writing music currently and hoping to break into the industry. He's music is very good - similar to portis head.

I wouldn't mind buying this site myself, although i have zero budget currently. All my money is wrapped up in this site and i don't know enough about the music industry to maintain the site.

The other thing about it is that is costs $110 a month in hosting alone so it would need a good advertising structure to break even before profits.

How much do you make from advertising per month currently?

I contacted the site you mentioned and they had no knowledge of their site being for sale!

Then it would seen this is someone attempting to commit fraud.

I will contact the site and if that is true i will delete this thread.

Actually the user lists two sites ( http://www.artistgigs.com & http://www.bandlabel.com ) - which one did you contact that said it was not for sale?
