Could you help me to decide? Shared or VPS hosting?
I am going to host a forum which was really hard to design - it takes much time and patience... I can't decide what hosting solution to choose - VPS hosting from 4java.ca or shared web hosting from webhostgiant.com.
So, I need to know your points skillful web masters. Could you?

For start I'd recommend to go shared, as for an upgrage - it is possible to be done as soon as you need more resources.
I can recmmend you to look through the offers of MMhosting.com - their shared hosting is really one of the most sstbale and affordable. Inexpensive and feature-rich plans of high rescource capability.

Don't necessarily choose a host with the fastest ticket response time, but choose one which will be patient and explain what you need - hosting provider which understands your specific needs, and which can sit down with you and talk about what your demands are. This I can say about 4java.ca - it is flexible company, so you can contact them and tell them your requirements, no doubt, they will find a solution for you.

For shared hosting, there are good offers at marblehost.com - the company provides this hosting type since 2005 and thus has pretty long experience in thi area. I guess, you may find a solution there.

I agree with all guys in here. To get started you need to have shared account. But if you operate with streaming bettre have VPS server for that.

If you consider VPS I believe that you'd better go with VPS account. And in this case it seems that serverpoint (which is active with help here), or vpsland can be good options to continue your net pretense

I think shared hosting account would be great if you start business online and it seems to me that webhostgiant.com would be great choice as they offer the cheapest Linux and Windows shared web hosting plans I have ever seen. I prefer to focus on something much more important, reliable web hosting and great customer service, so I think that this company would be great choice!

Great VPS deals are presented by webhostingbuzz.com - the company of high performance for low cost. I believe you can get a good experience from hosting with them.
Also there are great offers presented by hostjava.net - VPS plans are starting prices at less than 20 dollars a month. Upper limit is not very hi also.

I do not sure that VPS is an option here. Why pay more if you do not need to

It completely depends on the resources you are going to use.
As for the place to go, I can name routhost.com for hsared hosting and webhostingbuzz.com for VPS.
First one will give you a large resourceful hosting plan for low cost, the second is able to propose quality VPS which are currently discounted by 10% with the code you may find on their site.

Use shared service from iwhic.com and VPS deal from serverpoint.com, that would be the best choice.
Before signing up a web master has to define clearly what he needs.
