Administrator The Boss Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: London Posts: 345	Firewall software I am soon to be upgrading to aol broadband and will need a decent firewall. The firewall which i have heard is recommended the most is Zone Alarm, with Nortons following close behind. When upgrading to aol broadband, aol provides Mcafee Firewall free. What would you recommend? Stay with the default firewall offered by aol ( Mcafee ), or use another firewall like Zone Alarm or Nortons? __________________ Add your web design or hosting company to my Hosting Directory. thebyp2 Super Moderator Join Date: Apr 2004 Posts: 89	mcafee and norten use the same symantec engine so theres no difference but cost between the to. Zonealarm is very effective but it is very resource intensive. It also has a habit of loading a new event for each thing it scans so can make your registry a bit on the untidy side.
