Have you ever dealt with Simplehelix?

Hello!

Have you ever dealt with simplehelix.com? I ask this because I am very curious about the strange LItaSpeed server software their plans are based on. It is not Zeus, not apache, but something which is claimed to work faster (as it is stated on website).

It looks like no one else uses this server, and this may mean either it is proprietary simplehelix' product, or it is now very popular for some reason...

Could you share knowledge?

This server really works faster, as I know, because I have no direct experience, but it is uncompatible with certain applications ike сPanel control panel. You might have already noticed that simplehelix.com offers directadmin instead.

Personally I think this is connected with eCommerce direction of simplehelix' business.

Unfortunately I do not know any other companies providing the same server software. so i think you'll have luck after googling the query.

Maybe AgniX is right? I guess simplehelix.com is majorly used for eCommerce deals, so this server software is better suit for such sites. It is six times faster than apache, what enables faster payment checkout. I suppose this is the reason and main purpose.

Looks very likely to be true, that simplehelix.com uses this server software type because of their activity in the eCommerce field.

Also I have also heard that latest versions are compatible with cPanel... Very interesting company and software muct I say!

Check out gazzin.com for comparison. It will provide you with more potentially useful services. So, you will be able to find the most productive capacity of hosting services if you deal with this company.

^^they only give osCommerce carts - this is not very stable, very hacker-sensitive, while simplehelix.com offers magento, and supports many other engines.

But anyway my question was about the litespeed server, and following - is it really useful for eCommerce sites?

You need to do your own search for their domain name if you are interested in getting more information about them.

Have made a decision to get a package from webhostingbuzz.com instead, as I've got to know that litespeed is very limited in options, unlike apache or zeus.. I shall prefer traditional methods...
