Globat.com - How is This host?

Has anybody had any good or bad experiences with Globat.com?
I can say that I've had a good experience with them for 6 months.
Please let me know!

If you've been with them for six months, why do you need to know if anybody has had bad experiences?

Globat admins need to be FIRED

Globat has a terrific service - good value, features - and, during the periods between upgrades and such, the service is good.

WHENEVER the Admins touch the servers, however, SITES GO DOWN, EMAIL GOES DOWN, and Nobody on the support desk EVER has a clue why it happened or WHEN it will be BACK! Outages can last for a day or more. WORSE - they NEVER happen on a weekend. These imbiciles make the server farm their playground on WEEKDAYS.

This happened three times in June 2004, alone! You just can't run a business this way.

There is no accountability - no service manager that can be reached, no contact with management, no apparent repurcussions for repeated screw-ups.

I left.

I host my site at Globat.com which is www.gamespolis.com

I really like using them. They are terrific for me, I use my site to experiment, and they have all the features I want, so I have nothing to complain about.

Though I can understand how a person running a business doesn't like the downtime, but they no longer have the huge downtimes.
