Global Hosting???
It becomes quite an obvious tenedency for hosting companies to place servers not only in different datacenters, but on different continents, I mean companies like www.Utropicmedia.net (with servers in the USA, Europe and Asia). And now its www.Serverpoint.com expanding their servers to India and even launching a new website Serverpoint.in.

We believe the server location matters only if the technical support is lacking with the company. We have hosted with Server Intellect for a number of years, and though they are a global web host, their business is operated out of Florida. They have a fantastic network, and rarely is there ever an issue. Their tech support and staff and are very responsive both by email and phone. http://www.serverintellect.com/hosti...owsserver2008/

To this list SolidHost.com services must be added. This company has expended their services. They have datacenters in EU and US. They provide Linux and Windows-based high-end VPS and dedicated servers.

If ServerPoint.com has expended their web hosting services on Indian area, it means this company is growing. No wonder as they are a stable and rock solid company.

Yes, exactly. Global hosting provider is a company offering services in the datacenters all over the world. Marblehost.com is one of the typical examples of this with datacenetrs in UK and USA. I guess this was seo that brought about the demand for global hosting.

Not yet, Serverpoint.com is only planning to install their servers in India, do you have any ideas why haven't they gone for Europe?
