Semidedicated or shared?

Shared and semi-dedicated is almost the same in terms of the control over resources that you get, but semi-dedicated allows you to use a bigger amount of resources than ashared hosting plan, as the number of accounts on the server is limited.
I know that Jaguarpc.com offers expensive semi-dedicated plans, Webhostingbuzz.com used to provide semi-dedicated plans, but now they switched to Business shared plans instead which are almost the same in the amount of resources and pricing as semi-dedicated.
