dunno what to do
I need a shared web hosting for my web site. It's not big and disk space 400MB and bandwidth 3 GB will be enough for me. But use Linux or Windows hosting, dunno. What would you advise me to do?
The hosting company is HostCats.com.

If you are looking for Windows hosting, I can recommend you SiberName.com. This company provides it for afforbale prices and gives a $25 USD Coupon for Google Adwords®.

Kontty, if you are planning to go for a host, make sure he's been in the field for at least 4-5 years, have more postive reviews and testimonilas on their site. If you need a recommendation, I can vote for www.webhostingbuzz.com shared hosting service, plerase post more details about the site you are going to host, it will help to give you more valid advice as fro the which plan to choose.

Looking at HostCats.com web hosting plans, I'd advise you to start from Linux web hosting. It's cheaper first of all. And it's easier to use. When you'll have enough experience you may try Windows from them too.

Well, actually if you don't know which OS to go for, it means you don't have any special requirements means that you don't have any Windows-specific stuff and may go for Linux, which I recommend you. the host you were inquiring about Hostcats.com offers shared hosting on both types of OS. Their servers seem to be located in India, does this dc location meet your requirements?
While Sibername.com offers Windows hosting on Canadian-based servers.
At the end of the day, I think you should post your site's requirements to get more valuable ideas af for choosing the best hosting package for your site.

400 MB for one site? Isn't that too much? What kind of site will it be?
Go for hosting plan with a multiple domain feature, Do any of the hosts mentioned sibername.com or hostcats.com offer this?

I have seen few feedbacks on review center about hostcats.com.
But If I were you I'd signup for their windows web hosting and try to find linux with other web hosting. Other side of this: If you will get some discounts with Hostcats.com while signing up for their both windows and linux. In this case shurely bettr go with one company to save some money.

Reselling is a good thing to start your business with but it must be with in-house support. It's important!
Linux or Windows - it depends on your budget and experience.
Both are nice from HostCats.com in terms of prices but if you need ASP.NET only Windows will be good for you.
