I seem to have participated in the like threads, and answered that I'm usually looking for the features my site needs to perform well online, then I look at the support and then at the cost of the package.

There are as many opinions as customers are. Some prefer to have good support, some fast speed connection, some prefer lots of bandwidth.

Live chat method of support is the key feature for me, the n comes features I need to run my site, and the last on my list is the price.

I think if company provide quality services it has to lok quality and proffesional. Just look at companies like dreamhost.com, accuwebhosting.com. Good websites and friendly staff.  |

One more point to be added to the list is the proven record of company's history. But here people may look for different number of years of host's experience, some say 4-5, for others 2 is enough.
