Unlimited Domain offers!!!

Hello,

I was thinking about unlimited domains, when resellers buy such packages, they usually indulge in overselling, which results to bad customer service in the long term. But people still do this, why? How can they afford to be so indifferent/careless sometimes?
Which ultimately leads to the question, why do the web hosts themselves do this? Why do web hosts think that it is logical to do this just for making a few extra bucks?

I think you have to differenciate those that oversell within reason and those that just make the market silly.

the reason why most webhostpcs do that is cause they dont exspect thier cleints wont exceed the to over 50 or 1000 domains !
its called a schem sale.
which I to use for sales.
but most users dont over use the domain rights at all.
look domain names cost money can you realy pay for 100 or 1000 domain names a year ?

most 90% business dont use over 50 domain names.
unless they go by a dedicated server.
what most web hoisting pcs do is for sales is unlimited domain names.
cause its maxed out by your disc usage.
and server package ram usage.
and data base usage.
so we add that as part of your disc space use and data base use.
so if you over exceed this then you need more space as well.
its commensense.
we dont lie to unlimited domain it goes by your disc space and data base use.
so if you ever seen a package sale unlimited domain name thats there for commensense usage.
not stupid reasoning.
you have to fallow our guide lines to this for your package usage.
cause even me as a dedicated web host server seller I get unlimited domains too.
but I dont use it all or my data base usaging.
I use commensense to it.
i got more then one web site going as my own on my dedicated server to sell web hosting packages.
and i only got one domain name per package I use.
so as a user I say use commensense to the unlimited domain names and web site pages you use for it for your package.
just watch after your disc space and data base and you be fine.

"unlimited domains" is just a marketing term used to represent the fact that there is no set limit on domains. This is usually the case on reseller accounts that are limited by disk space and bandwidth instead.

well yes thats right its a marketing term for sales.
but also I never seen a customer use over the limit for domain names.
they use and buy domain names on what they need it for.
but I got more then one type of business going I sell web hosting packages and dedicated game servers, plus I got my own online shop that I sell laptop computers and motherboards, memory and hard drives and printers and networking routers.
cable/ADSL modems, LCD TVs, LCD PC monitors, software, PS2 Games, GameCube games, GameCube, PS2, Home applainces, cigarettes,cigars,ATVs,Scooters and much more.
infact I dont have all my products yet on the web site list for sale yet.
I only got a little over 800 products for sale for now.
waiting to see how business goes with the electronics department before I add on the other products.
and yes all the products are brand name products and their brand new items out of the box.
I dont go for those cheap SMC products to sell.
I like to sell good quality products that has brand names to them.
names every one knows and seen in retial stores.
so I the customer will get what they want and like and make good sales.
