Is it a good price? please advice
Hi ,
I have a question, I found a web design firm and they offered me a dedicated server with my package for $49.99/Month well $50.00 a month. Is that good price for dedicated server?
Is it a good deal for the hosting part? Any advice would be helpful
thank you.

I would say that you are getting the cheapest server known to man! At best, you MIGHT be getting a 1ghz sempron box, but I could be wrong. You might be geeting a great box, just a very small amount of transfer. A decent server cost anywhere between $100 - $200 a month. Thats for a p4 2.8 box. You should ask them what type of server it is, then check and see if you can get a better price on the server.

Could you list out the requirements given by them for $50?

Hi,
That is a great price, but I doubt you'll get high quality support and stability with that server. Expect what you pay for.

How much monthly bandwidth, Hard Drive space and RAM is alloted for the server? Is the server managed or unmanaged? Which OS?

It is not about the price. Any web design firm is probably good in its own business. However web hosting requires significant knowledge that running servers and troubleshooting them. Most designers do not have experience with server side application management. So you'd better go with any hosting provider.

Can you give us more details about this? What do you get for $50 from a Web design consulting firm? This all sounds to good to be true, so please provide us with some details, maybe give us your web site URL so we can check out their services for ourselves? I'll be here all day...

Its a really good price, and very cheap rates, while in now a days, a good dedicated hosting server starts from $100 and so on according to the futures,

You must contact them and ask them the specifications of the server worth $50/Month. It is really way too cheap for a server at this time! You can also check the web for some review about this site so you don't waste any cent by being blinded by their cheapest offer. Let us know what is the result.
