Do you actually get any contacts or customers from posting about your offers or business on forums? I am just curious from a business standpoint if the conversion of hits to sales is worth the time and effort.

why they do it
What they get is a high ranked back link that raises their natural search engine rankings ever so slightly each time the page with the link is viewed, so yes, it's probably worth his time... and mine too for that matter! Hope this helps.

Seeking Opinions
Hi, we've got a client that we just did a pretty cool panel site for and would like some critique strictly on the overall look/feel/branding. The client, RWL Group are independent risk management and employee benefits consultants out of Richardson, Texas, but they provide nationwide risk management services and employee benefits management / workman's comp services like PPO/HMO/POS evaluation and demographic analysis, expert Insurance / Reinsurance assistance, Risk financing alternatives, RFP Specification drafting and distribution, Exposure Analysis, evaluation of Adequacy of Coverages and Limits, Competitiveness of Premiums, RFP Specification Drafting and Distribution, Third-Party Administrator and Ancillary Service Specifications/Evaluation, Loss and Cost Projections, plan design for Self-Insurance, Retention Plans, Retro Plans, Captive Insurance, Due Diligence Studies, etc. -- pretty dry stuff but with a kind of interesting target market and thus the unusual and exciting web design. We want to compel a market segment that has relatively low Internet savvy, but a high regard for professionalism and a previously expressed desire for truly different alternatives from consultants that think outside the box in their field. So, we've built a site that we believe -- and hope communicates that these are not your run-of-the-mill actuaries, but strategic specialists in the area of risk management and employee benefits analysis. To that end, maybe you'd offer an opinion on how well we met that goal with the design we created for them.
