Domain name .org SERP disadvantage

hi all, i bought 5 .org domains and currently trying to seo it and trying hard to make it appear first page in SERP for the keywords. In my case, the keyword is the domain name. with no extra character or "-" etc.

I found out, its harder to rank a .org, than rank a .com.
i know because i have 10 .com running, and they ranked fast...compare to these .org

Is this a fact??

I've been looking for the link to Matt Cutt's blog where he wrote that domain extensions don't have any influence on the serp results, but sorry, couldn't find it.

Agree with the post above, the fact that majority of the top positions on serp are taken by .com domains may be explained by the long termed work on them compared to younger .info and .org domains.

Soon when there aren't any new .com domains left , org and .info will be as popular as .com. Nothing to worry about.
