motherboard problems

I am really hoping some one can help me in here....
My IT friend recommended me to flash my bios... which she did thru esupport for pheonix award bios.... well i am sure some of you would may be aware it then wouldnt start... nothing..... it has been over a month now i still dont have a computer i am on load with one.....
she has tried everything we emailed the people i had to BUY the upgrade from and they said it was risk free,..... LOL that was a joke..
so now i am at trying to replace my mother board... i dont know what i am looking for i just want my puter back......
It is a this is what the IT has said to look for???? HELP HERE
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz..

Is there any one that can help... pretty please...

going by what you are saying there.. might be a good idea to talk to the vendor and get their advise on what sort of a MB will be suitable for you...
