All forums can be hacked if you know what you are doing. There are many different ways in order to do this.

So if your using any forum, you are going to be risking exposing your email address to spammers.

My advice would be to have a seperate email for using on forums.

Hi all just joined as this post came to my attention purely by accident.

The first post states that webmasters-talk.com was the origin of the abuse which is incorrect (the extra 's' - webmaster-talk.com seems to be the one meant) noted the correct address webmaster-talk.com was the origin.

As the owner of the domain name webmasters-talk.com I felt I should just point it out to save any future confusion.

Noted that the owners/admins of webmaster-talk.com did thier bit too, but again just to avoid any confusion or any future probs due to this I thought I'd just add to what is an old thread I know, but so many things on the internet can get confused.

Hope this actually makes some sense, and no malice is felt (I make many typo's daily )
