How common is domain name fraud? I have heard accounts of domains name brought from affiliate accounts from stolen credit cards, ect.

Personally i don't see the point to this, since the domain names are then most defiently frozen. Problem is that when a name is brought, it goes through the system and can't be put back. The result is that the affilate company uses a chargeback to the affililate for any payment made from the purchase.

So the affiliate actually ends up paying the charge of the domain name.

Has anyone experinced this and if so, what domain affiliation company did you use?
