Career in PHP

I have a lot of websites - some are php and some are html. I personally like html better as I know how to change them.
Somebody told me php doesn't generate good ad sense income and will not be recognized by search engines as well. I have never heard of this. I have observed that every web site design company gives preference to PHP and html. So what is better html or php for websites mainly kept for ad sense income. As of right now I have a handwritten html only website and make like $ 5 out of it a day. I have never tried a php website.
Thanks for your answers........

Yeah, constantly evolving - PHP is constantly being developed by thousands of programmers who work on the PHP code and suggest new directions for the language to go.
Highly customisable, PHP really lets the programmers get access to the core elements of the language, even to the extent of extending the language to suit their application.
Secure, PHP has an outstanding security record.

00% Absolutely. PHP is the most used server side language (along with a MySQL backend) and is definitely not going anywhere soon. PHP is getting more Object Oriented related which is great. I would suggest learning PHP and ASP .NET. If you know both of those, you'll be good to go.

Hi Friend,
This is Jake Smith from NY...
See advatages of PHP over HTML...
1.HTML is a client-side programming language, PHP is
server-side and will get executed when called by the user.
whereas HTML all alone may or may not get executed when
loaded into the browser. PHP adds up to dynamicity of HTML a
long way. Helps in sharing files, etc. between webpages,
accessing databases. But still PHP requires to use HTML.

2.HTML is simple coding.the main differnece beween php and
html is that html is static and php is dynamic. php is
server scripting language where we can retreive values and
we can use in the front end. but php cant be useful without
html

3.PHP is a well known server side scripting language which we
can embed with HTML, a client side programming language. It
provides dynamicity to our website. Through PHP we can
retrieve information, save information, update information
in database directly. We can also enhance the performance of
our website by using PHP's powerful functions.

Its most powerful feature is include function, through which
we can create a PHP file and include it in different files.

And instead of that there are so many functions reside in
PHP that makes the language powerful and user friendly.

4.I think we can't compare these two for their advantages as
both are used together for web development. Another simple
reason for this answer is that we embed php script tags
i.e. <? and ?> within an html file. So, they both have
their own features.

5.PHP is a scripting language that provides database
connectivity methods, data processing and logic encoding.
HTML is NOT a scripting language and is a markup language
used for browser interpretation.

The PHP after executing on the server throws out HTML that
is sent to the user's browser.

One can make static web pages using HTML ; PHP is meant to
make data driven intelligent applications and uses HTML to
show the result of processing to the user.

Thanks!
