Forums back online!

I do apologise about the last few days, since the forums have been down. We decided to upgrade to vb3 gold but had some serious problems during the upgrade, even the developers of vb could not find a fix for the problem. Luckily i managed to get my host to investigate the problem. They were unable to pin point the problem but down to their own determination managed to upgrade the board by going from version 2.2.9 / 2.3.0 / 2.3.x ... until the final upgrade to 3 gold. This solved the problem.
As you will have noticed the forums are now completely different, i still have to spend a few days fixing some style problems and re-uploading some graphics.
Do not worry, you have not lost your avatars or smilies - i will upload them again.

Sadly we lost some hacks when upgrading - the vb stats and smilie panel. However - a better version of vbstats if currently in development for vb3 and the developer of the smilie panel hack is looking into making a version for vb3. So hopefully we will have those hacks back soon.

We have not had time to go through all the new features of vb3 yet, so expect some changes over the next few days and weeks.

We are also going to introduce some moderators and advisors. Moderators are those great people that will move your posts to the correct forums. There will be a big clean up - no more posting adverts all over the place.
Advisors will be assigned to answer programming / hosting related questions. Hopefully we will be able to find an expert from several individual fields to cover any questions you may have.

So... for the next few days bear with me as i make the changes.

P.S Don't worry i will be getting rid of those horrible default thread graphics that were imported with vb3!
