Job Description
Under the guidance of the Director of Research and Development, research, develop and implement Microsoft Windows based solutions.
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Setup, configure and maintain Microsoft based computing environments to support research projects
2. Provide guidance to other members of the organization as to security and maintenance best practices pertaining to Microsoft platforms.
3. Provide written project requirements, design specifications, implementation plans and project schedules to the Project Review Committee based on provided requirements.
4. Research and provide input on new and upcoming technologies and determine how they can be leveraged within the organization.
5. Work with other members of the R&D team to deliver on key projects.
6. Troubleshoot and diagnose performance bottlenecks and application failures on Microsoft platforms.
7. Be aware of the company's policy on information security and take whatever actions may from time to time be required under the terms of the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS).
8. Ensure quality processes and documentation are developed and followed to effectively create corporate intelligence and assist in efficient standard operating procedures in support of Company?s ISO 9001/27001 standards.
9. Be aware of and abide by all company policies and procedures (e.g. Employee Handbook).
10. Other duties as assigned.
