Hi Im having the same problem, I have a cybermaxx pc? pentium 4 and running on windows xp. I downloaded Everest to see if I could find out what was up with the pc.

oh yeah and what is happeing is that when I try to play music in windows media or anyother music player it just basically wont!! it says no audio hardware...I checked out the sounds bit on the control panel and it says no audio device...pleaaase help I think I'll go barmy with no music!
p.s Im using the monitor instead of speakers for sound.
